Crysis: Treehouses

So I decided to have ago at reducing the geometry of the treehouse to just planes in an attempt to reduce the polygon count. It was a success in that regard, but unfortunately sandbox doesnt support double faced planes. When viewed from one side it was visable but from the other it was invisible. I quickly resolved this by rotating the 'fins' 0.1 degrees and then rotating the faces. this essentially created two planes. The images below show substantial impovement in the quality of the geometry.
