The modular box-like enclosed structures distribute their load among several trees as opposed to just one, thereby efficiently safeguarding multiple trees per station while ensuring sturdy support. The structures also protect activists from harsh winter conditions, allowing them to man the stations year-round, hindering authoritative interference. Maynard's concept for GRS 2 replenishes hope in all tree-hugging hearts for the salvation of what is left of the Styx Valley Forest.
